Do you want to create Spaceships like seen in Star Wars and other sci-fi/fantasy films, but don’t want to spent months modelling all the detail? Then this kit is for You!

This Spaceship Kit is meant for creating highly detailed spaceships in a short amount of time. The details were made from old model kits, the same one ILM modelers used to detail the iconic spaceships from the original Star Wars trilogy. That’s why this Kit will instantly give an authentic Star Wars feeling to your model.

*What you will get *

When purchased, you will get 6 kits with combined 277 pieces. You will also get a metal and a rust leak texture, so you can recreate the material in the images.

The Kits were created with a SubD Workflow in mind, where everything is quads (polygons with 4 sides), triple edged and UV’ed.

*Note *

Most of the details have no bottom face, because they are meant to sit on an already existing surface. This will save you both polys and UV space.

The UV’s of the different object do not have the same texel density. Keep that in mind before texturing.

*How to recreate the material seen in the image? *

Use the Spaceship Texture (seamless or not) for a base. If you want to add some colored pieces or details, just multiply a constant color on top, and change it to your liking. The rust leaks are best applied at the very end using the overlay mode. Try using tri planer projection on that texture, to make it behave more realistic. Roughness and Bump map were created from the color map, using a color ramp/levels/range etc. Be sure that it is a Greyscale map and adjust it to your liking.

This is the very simple material used for the preview image. You are welcome to spice it up!
